Full documentary traceability for every order
Armature Yard "Boyana" provides the necessary documentation on the origin and quality of reinforcement steel with every order. Documentation covers two levels — a mill certificate from the steel producer and accompanying documents from our yard for the fabricated elements.
Having correct and complete documentation is a statutory requirement on every supervised construction site and a mandatory condition for acceptance of the works. We take care of this so the client can focus on construction rather than paperwork.
Every batch of reinforcement steel entering our yard is accompanied by a quality certificate (Mill Certificate / Test Report) issued by the steel mill.
These documents contain:
When required, these documents are provided to the technical inspector, site supervisor or structural engineer.
With every rebar fabrication order we provide:
On request we also provide a copy of the steel producer's certificate, cross-referenced to the specific order.
Reinforcement steel and fabricated elements made from it must comply with a range of international and European standards. Below are the main normative documents we work with.
Steel for the reinforcement of concrete
International standard defining requirements for reinforcement bars (Pt.1), welded mesh (Pt.2) and coiled steel (Pt.3). Covers dimensional tolerances, mechanical properties and chemical composition.
Weldable reinforcing steel
The principal European standard for reinforcement steel, mandatory in Bulgaria and the EU. Defines requirements for weldability, rib geometry, mass tolerances and strength characteristics.
National standard — grades B500A/B/C
The Bulgarian national standard harmonised with EN 10080. Defines reinforcement steel grades: B500A (smooth/lightly ribbed), B500B and B500C (high ductility). In Bulgarian practice B500B is predominantly used.
Symbols for reinforcement elements in drawings
A construction drawing standard that defines how reinforcement elements are designated in project documentation: diameters, bending shapes, bar spacing and quantities. Our production teams read drawings using this system.
Minimum bending radii
Eurocode 2 is the mandatory design standard for reinforced concrete structures in Bulgaria. It defines minimum bending radii as a function of bar diameter. Our machines are calibrated to meet these requirements on every bend.
Construction drawings – reinforcement designation
The international version of the reinforcement designation standard for construction drawings. Applied on international projects and when working with foreign engineers. Ensures unambiguous reading of shapes and dimensions for every reinforcement element.
